Last summer, Daniel went to a space camp with his cousin Mia. They stayed there for three days and learned many interesting things about space.

On the first day, the children learned about the planets. They used a big model of the solar system and learned that each planet has different characteristics. Daniel's favorite planet was Saturn because of its beautiful rings.

On the second day, the children learned about astronauts. They wore space helmets and practiced walking like astronauts. They also learned how astronauts eat and sleep in space.

On the last day, the children built a small rocket. They worked together and launched it outside. The rocket went high into the air and then came back down.

Daniel had a wonderful time at space camp. He learned many new things and made new friends. When he returned home, he told his parents, “I want to visit space someday!”

Scientists are very interested in Mars. Mars is often called the Red Planet because its surface looks reddish. It is much smaller than Earth and is very far from the Sun.

Mars has mountains, valleys, and large rocks. Scientists have also found evidence that water existed on Mars a long time ago. Today, scientists continue studying the planet to learn more about it.

Robots called rovers can travel on the surface of Mars. They take pictures, collect information, and help scientists study the planet. The rovers are controlled from Earth.

One day, astronauts may travel to Mars. They will need special spacesuits, food, water, and equipment. A trip to Mars would be very long, so astronauts would need to prepare carefully.

Many people dream about visiting Mars. Scientists are working hard to discover if humans could live there in the future.
